This is one of the greatest lines I have ever heard. I am sorry to say that I dont remember the exact source from where i heard this. Most probably from a movie. Anyway, it has greatly affected my life. For those of you who did not understand what the line wants to say...
Consider a long strong iron chain made up of a 999 iron links. Introduce a 1000th link which is made of woolen thread. Then, the strength of the whole chain now depends on that thin link of thread. It also means that each person has SOME weak trait which, in certain extreme situations, may cloud all ones strong traits.
Incompetence in General Knowledge was one of MY weakest traits. But that was a long time ago.
